Pakistan’s BLAZE-25 Loitering Munition has made a strong impression at IDEX 2025. The country’s defense industry has unveiled this AI-powered weapon, proving its rapid progress in modern drone warfare. The launch at the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi places Pakistan among the top nations in loitering munition development.

Pakistan's Breakthrough in Loitering Munitions

Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS), Pakistan’s leading defense firm, introduced the BLAZE-25 Loitering Munition at IDEX 2025. This advanced drone uses AI to enhance precision targeting. It is designed to take down tanks and armored personnel carriers (APCs) with high accuracy.

Weighing only 25 kg, the BLAZE-25 is the lightest in its series. Other models include the BLAZE-50 (50 kg) and BLAZE-75 (75 kg). Despite its small size, it delivers powerful tactical strikes. The drone uses an electric propulsion system, reducing its noise and heat signature. This makes it highly effective for stealth missions.

Unmatched Performance and Smart Capabilities

The BLAZE-25 Loitering Munition has a 75 km operational range and 60 minutes of endurance. As a standard drone, it has a data-link range of 10 km. This suggests the use of AI for autonomous targeting. It can identify and eliminate targets without real-time human control.

Pakistan’s investment in AI-powered munitions highlights its focus on modern warfare. The BLAZE-25 serves both as a loitering munition and a reconnaissance drone. It provides real-time intelligence on the battlefield. The drone’s independent operations reduce the risk of jamming and signal interference, making it a valuable asset in electronic warfare.

Pakistan at IDEX 2025: Showcasing Advanced Military Technology

Pakistan’s participation in IDEX 2025 has attracted global attention. The event features over 40 countries, making it an important platform for defense collaborations. The Pakistan Pavilion has become a key attraction for military experts and potential buyers.

GIDS has also displayed advanced weapons, including:

  • Fatah-series guided rockets
  • AZB precision-guided bombs
  • Harbah NG anti-ship cruise missile
  • Taimur air-launched cruise missile

The BLAZE loitering munitions have emerged as one of the event’s biggest highlights. Pakistan’s focus on precision, cost-effective defense solutions is clear.
