The Punjab School Education Department (SED) has also announced a nine-day holiday for public schools. The break will begin on March 28, 2025. Schools will reopen on April 7, marking the start of a new academic session. The annual exam results will be announced on April 4.
Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays in Sindh
The Sindh government has announced public holidays from March 31 to April 2, 2025, for Eid-ul-Fitr. Additionally, April 4 will be observed as a public holiday to honor the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. With weekends falling on March 29-30 and April 5-6, public offices and schools will remain closed for eight days.
Federal Government’s Eid-ul-Fitr Holiday Schedule
The federal government has declared a three-day public holiday from March 31 to April 2, 2025. Educational institutions under federal jurisdiction will observe holidays during this period. The new academic session will begin on April 7.
