The Punjab government announced free laptops for admirable students under the ‘CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025’ a few months ago, and now, the registration has started
The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 is here! The Punjab government is giving away 110,000 Core i7 laptops to students. This scheme aims to help deserving students in public universities and colleges. If you are a BS, medical, or dental student, this is your chance to get a free laptop for your studies.
Eligibility Criteria for CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025
- Domicile: You must be a resident of Punjab.
- Enrollment: You must be in 1st or 2nd semester of a BS program at a public university or college.
- Academic Performance:
- BS students: At least 65% marks in Intermediate.
- Medical and dental students: At least 80% marks in Intermediate.
4. Previous Laptop Schemes: You must not have received a laptop from any previous government programs.
Special Allocation for Minority Students
The Punjab government has reserved 2,000 laptops for minority students to ensure equal opportunities.
Laptop Distribution Breakdown
The 110,000 laptops will be given to students in different institutions:
🔹 20,000 laptops – University students
🔹 14,000 laptops – College students
🔹 4,000 laptops – Technical & agricultural college students
🔹 2,000 laptops – Medical & dental students
🔹 32% laptops – Students from South Punjab
Which Laptops Will Be Given?
Students will receive 13th Generation Core i7 laptops. These high-speed devices will help students in computer science, medicine, engineering, business, agriculture, and social sciences.
How to Apply for CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025?
The application process is fully online. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official website: cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk
- Go to the “CM Laptop Program” section.
- Click on “Apply Now” to open the registration portal.
- Fill out the registration form with accurate details.

Before applying, make sure you have:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- CNIC/B-Form Number (Must belong to the applicant)
- Password (Set and confirm)
- Captcha Code
After submitting the form, check your email inbox for a confirmation link. Click on the link to activate your account.
Laptop Distribution Timeline
Laptop distribution will begin after Ramadan 2025. The first batch of laptops has already arrived in Pakistan. The Chief Minister will personally distribute laptops to students at special ceremonies.
