Taj Haider passes away on Tuesday in Karachi, following a brief illness. The 83-year-old politician, a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), had been receiving treatment at a local hospital. His family confirmed the news, and his wife shared the sad update on social media.

Taj Haider’s funeral prayers will be offered on April 9 at Masjid-o-Imambargah Yasrab, Phase 4, Defence Society, Karachi, after Zuhrain prayers. His family will share further details regarding the burial and other arrangements.
