Implementation of the New School Timings

Education departments have directed schools to implement the Ramadan 2025 school timings from the start of the holy month. Parents and students can confirm the schedules through school administrations or visit the provincial education department websites.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SPARCO) shared moon sighting predictions. According to SPARCO, the new moon will appear on February 28, 2025, at 5:45 PM (PST). However, it may be difficult to see due to its low position.

Based on calculations, Ramadan in Pakistan is expected to start on March 2, 2025. The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on February 28, 2025, in Peshawar to make the final decision.
