Divisional Commissioner Zaid bin Maqsood confirmed, “All municipal and security arrangements for the Raiwind Tableeghi Ijtima have been completed.” Security personnel, including police and wardens, will manage safety and crowd flow. A temporary hospital and multiple dispensaries are set up to handle medical needs. CCTV cameras are also placed to monitor the event to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Traffic and Accessibility Measures
The Lahore Traffic Police, led by CTO Ammara Athar, has organized a thorough traffic plan to manage the influx of pilgrims. “All routes will be clear for ambulances and emergency vehicles,” she stated. Attendees will have seven designated parking areas, with routes assigned for easy access from GT Road, Rawalpindi, Okara, and Kasur. To keep traffic moving, Rasta FM and the Rasta app will give real-time updates to attendees on traffic conditions. This will ensure smoother access to the event for all those attending.
