Saudi Arabia will host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims for Hajj this year. This will be at the personal expense of King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The program supports families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded. It aims to provide spiritual comfort during hard times.
A Gift from King Salman
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has always supported the Palestinian cause. This generous move is part of his Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. It is handled by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Wide Praise and Appreciation
Many people welcomed the news. Senior journalist Tahir Khan called it a timely and kind gesture. He said it brings comfort while violence continues in Palestine. He noted that the support gives hope to affected families.
Strong Message of Unity
The Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, also praised the King. He said the move reflects Islamic unity and Saudi Arabia’s support for the Palestinian people. The Kingdom wants to ease the journey for those who have suffered.
Planning for a Smooth Hajj
The ministry has already set up a full logistics plan. This includes arrangements for travel, stay, and support in Makkah and Madinah. From start to finish, the pilgrims will receive care and assistance.
Part of a Larger Mission
This is not the first time the Kingdom has helped pilgrims. Since 1417 AH, the Guests Program has hosted over 64,000 pilgrims from around the Muslim world. This proves Saudi Arabia’s role as a leader in the Islamic world.
