According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh, met Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir at the General Headquarters during his visit to Pakistan. They discussed ways to strengthen their partnership.

The leaders agreed on the importance of standing united against outside pressures. They also talked about regional security and steps to create peace. General Munir praised Bangladesh’s efforts to promote stability. Lieutenant General Hassan, in turn, praised Pakistan’s fight against terrorism. This meeting showed mutual respect and shared goals.
