Pakistan has hosted its first-ever “Made in Pakistan” expo in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This event is a big step to boost trade relations between the two countries. The exhibition was inaugurated by Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan. It features 137 Pakistani companies showcasing textiles, sports goods, food, construction materials, and more.
The expo aims to promote Pakistan’s manufacturing capabilities and attract global partnerships. Jam Kamal Khan, during the opening ceremony, highlighted the vast potential for economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Key sectors like food security, energy, mining, and human resources were mentioned as areas ripe for collaboration. He also praised the contributions of the 2.7 million Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing their role in the Kingdom’s economic growth.
One unique highlight was Pakistan’s readiness to contribute to FIFA 2034. Pakistan is famous for producing high-quality sports goods, including footballs used in global tournaments. This expertise positions the country as a key partner for Saudi Arabia’s plans for the event.
The minister encouraged entrepreneurs from both nations to explore joint ventures. Such collaborations, he noted, could open doors to regional markets and drive mutual growth. The expo demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to building strong trade partnerships and creating opportunities for investment.
This event is a major milestone in fostering long-term cooperation and strengthening bilateral trade between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
