On the 27th night of Ramadan, more than 4.2 million Muslims gathered at the Grand Mosque in Makkah for Laylat Al-Qadr prayers. This night holds deep spiritual importance. Worshipers came together for Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers, seeking forgiveness, mercy, and divine blessings.

Efforts to Manage the Large Crowd

Enhanced Facilities for Worshipers
The Grand Mosque’s facilities were fully optimized. 428 escalators and 28 elevators helped people move easily. A 1,300-speaker audio system ensured that every prayer and Quranic recitation was clearly heard. Additionally, an advanced cooling system with 90,000 tons of capacity kept the environment comfortable.
Medical Support for Worshipers
Medical teams were on standby to assist anyone in need. Health centers were set up to provide immediate care. Volunteers also helped worshipers, ensuring a smooth and peaceful experience for all.
