Hajj Pilgrims Support played a major role during Hajj 2025. The Government of Pakistan set up a special center in Makkah. It served more than 115,000 pilgrims from both private and government Hajj schemes.
Notably, the center operated 24/7. It quickly solved over 3,000 problems related to travel, lost tickets, food, accommodation, and other needs. As a result, many pilgrims completed their journey with ease.
Continuous Assistance for Pilgrims
The center stayed open round the clock. This constant support made a big difference. Pilgrims had help any time of day. Therefore, issues were resolved without long waits.
Moreover, the presence of trained staff gave pilgrims peace of mind. Timely assistance reduced stress during the sacred journey.
Specialized Units Working Together
Several units operated inside the center. These included the Departure Cell, the Zong Desk for communication help, and the Complaints Cell. Together, these units handled different issues effectively.
For example, the Zong Desk provided mobile SIM support. Meanwhile, the Departure Cell guided pilgrims leaving Makkah. Thanks to this teamwork, pilgrims got all services in one place.
Complaint Handling with Speed
The Complaints Cell, led by Hafiz Obaidullah Zakaria, received 30,147 complaints. Impressively, the team resolved 2,446 of them within 24 hours. Only 113 are still under review.
Additionally, the center closed 580 complaints after verifying they were incorrect. These numbers highlight the team’s efficiency and responsiveness.
Leadership and Management
Ayesha Ijaz, the center head, led the team with dedication. She made sure all staff worked in sync. Under her guidance, the facility stayed organized and responsive.
Due to her leadership, every unit focused on its role. As a result, pilgrims received help faster and with more care.
A Model of Government Service
Clearly, the Pakistani government took serious steps for Hajj 2025. The center offered active support far from home. Pilgrims did not feel alone in a foreign land.
This facility brought safety, service, and satisfaction. Thousands returned home with positive experiences and gratitude.
