BISE Lahore introduces AI-powered examination system to improve transparency in the Matric Exams 2025. The board has introduced an AI-powered examination system to ensure fair and secure staff appointments. This move aims to prevent favoritism and reduce malpractice risks.
Automated System Approved for Matric Exams 2025
On Saturday, the BISE Lahore Task Force Committee held a meeting to discuss the new system. The session was led by Chairman Mazamil Mahmood, Higher Education Department Secretary Dr. Farrukh Naveed, and Lahore Commissioner/Chairman Board Zaid bin Maqsood. Other officials, including BISE Lahore Secretary Rizwan Nazir and Controller Examinations Zahid Mian, were also present.
How the Automated System Works
For the first time, BISE Lahore is using an AI-powered examination system to assign exam staff. This includes superintendents, deputy superintendents, and invigilators. The new system replaces the old manual process, which often led to nepotism in exam staff selection.
The system selects staff fairly, without human interference. It pulls data from a central bank of 100,000 teachers. Assignments are based on location and randomized to ensure a transparent exam process.
More Examination Centers for Matric Exams 2025
The upcoming Matric Exams 2025 will be held at 920 examination centers. This is 52 more centers than last year. The expansion will accommodate 568,854 students from both Science and General Groups.
To ensure examination security, blacklisted, retired, and private staff will not be appointed. The system ensures that no teacher is assigned to a center where their own students are appearing.

The BISE Lahore automated exam system was created by program engineer Tahir Yaqob. He received AI training from Silicon Valley. The system uses zone-wise teacher management and verifies staff eligibility automatically. Security checks prevent errors and unauthorized appointments.
Ending Favoritism with AI
According to BISE Lahore Controller Examinations Dr. M. Zahid Mian, this system is a major step towards transparency. In past years, influential individuals could manipulate exam staff appointments. The AI-powered examination system removes such loopholes, making the process merit-based and fair.
With this system, Matric Exams 2025 will be secure, efficient, and free from favoritism. The exams will begin on March 4, 2025.
