Pakistan beach handball team has reached the semi-finals of the 10th Asian Beach Handball Championship. The team defeated Saudi Arabia in a thrilling quarter-final match held in Oman. This win takes Pakistan one step closer to the 2026 Beach Handball World Championship.
Strong Start from Pakistan
The game took place at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex. Pakistan started strong. In the first set, they dominated Saudi Arabia with a score of 17-4. Their teamwork and speed gave them a clear lead early on.
Saudi Arabia Fights Back
However, the second set did not go as smoothly. Saudi Arabia bounced back and changed the pace of the game. They won the second set 14-6. This created tension and sent the match into a shootout.
Pakistan Wins in Shootout
With both teams having won one set each, a shootout was needed. It was a nervous moment for both sides. Still, Pakistan stayed calm and focused. They won the shootout 8-4. This win put them into the semi-finals.
