Pakistan's crypto partnership

Pakistan’s crypto partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLF) is helping shape the country’s digital future. WLF, backed by the U.S. President Donald Trump, has signed a major deal with the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC). The goal is to boost blockchain innovation, grow stablecoin use, and expand decentralized finance (DeFi) services in Pakistan.

A WLF team visited Islamabad to complete the deal. The group included Zachary Folkman, Chase Herro, and Zachary Witkoff, son of Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff. They met leaders like the Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Deputy Prime Minister, Information Minister, and Defence Minister. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and senior officials from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and IT Ministry joined through video link.
