KP Announces Free Hajj for Laborers

The Workers Welfare KP Board has shared its yearly employee performance report. It brings great news for workers across the province. This year, 17 workers from different industries will be sponsored for Hajj.
The government will fully cover the costs, totaling Rs. 18.79 million. This step shows strong support for hardworking employees and their families.
Government Sponsorship for Hajj Pilgrims
As announced, 17 lucky workers will perform Hajj in 2025 without worrying about expenses. The board’s decision eases the financial burden on many deserving families.
Major Investment in Higher Education
Education remains a key focus. The report shared that Rs. 627.5 million has been used to help 1,578 workers’ children continue their higher studies. With this support, many young people can now dream bigger.
Moreover, it highlights the importance of education in building a stronger future for worker families.
Marriage Grants to Ease Family Expenses
Weddings can be costly. Therefore, the board allocated Rs. 131 million as marriage grants. A total of 341 workers benefited from this fund.

Financial Help During Difficult Times
In cases of family loss, the board provided financial aid. Around Rs. 30 million was given out as death grants for 44 workers’ families.
This support offers relief during painful and challenging times.
