Shakira revealed that she had to go to the emergency room due to sudden abdominal pain. “I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue and am currently hospitalized,” she wrote. She assured fans that she was receiving medical care but could not perform as planned.
She expressed her sadness over missing the concert and apologized to her fans. “I am very sad not to be able to take the stage today,” she added. She had been looking forward to performing in Peru and was disappointed that her health did not allow it.
Concert Rescheduling in Progress
Shakira’s team and concert promoters are working on a new date for the canceled show. She reassured fans that they will receive an update soon. “They are already working on a new date to communicate to you,” she confirmed.
